Who we are
African Community Aid and Development Initiatives (ACADI) is a registered Non-Governmental Organization officially established on September 5, 2025 under the NGO Coordination Board of Kenya.
ACADI was founded by professionals, community leaders, and humanitarian actors who have witnessed firsthand the challenges facing communities in Northern Kenya — from recurring droughts and poor access to essential services, to chronic poverty and insecurity.
We primarily work across Wajir, Mandera, Garissa, Marsabit, Isiolo, Samburu, and Turkana counties, with a long-term goal of expanding across other arid and semi-arid regions of Kenya.
